#MindsetMinute No. 2 – Who are you BEING in your trading? Part II

Last time, we spoke about who we are BEING and how that dictates our words and experiences, not just in the market, but in our lives.

And you had a simple homework assignment (if you chose to accept it): to write down all the “I AM” statements you notice yourself saying or thinking.

What did you discover about who you are truly being during the day? Do you like who you are being?  If so, keep going, homie! 🔥Or… Would you like to change some aspect of who you are being?

For most of us, there is something we’d like to improve. So let’s talk about how changing who we are BEING (first cause) causes the world outside of us to change (and not the other way around).

➡️ “When I change, the world outside of me changes.” ⬅️

➡️ “When I change, my trading changes.” ⬅️

➡️ “When I change, the people around me change..” ⬅️

Have you ever had an experience where you were stressed about something… and the situation dragged on and stressed you out for days… Then, at some point, you decided, “You know what? I’m done stressing about this. I’m just going to choose to be happy instead.”

And just like that, you weren’t stressed anymore. You CHOSE to be HAPPY.

What is happy? It’s a state BEING. A state we choose to be in or not, based on our perception.

Guess what “wealthy” is… It’s actually a state of BEING, not an external circumstance. The external circumstance of wealth is a result of who the person creating the wealth is BEING.

The millionaires you admire did not get that way because of external circumstances. They got way because of who they were BEING… which lead to the actions that then created wealth in their external world.

Your homework: Take some time to write down the kind of life you’d like to create for yourself externally. Leave nothing unsaid. Describe the trading life, the relationships, the experiences, and everything you desire.

Next time, you are going to learn how to decide who you need to BE to bring about those creations.
