You’ve heard Team Leaders in the club talk about the importance of our words in what we are creating. For example…
Giving yourself a username like “Lost It All On AMC” versus something like Blake’s name “1000% Options Blake C”.
The names we give ourselves matter. The words we use are an outpicturing of our internal belief, or more importantly, who we are BEING internally.
We will speak more on words in the coming sessions. Today, I want us to discuss the thing more powerful than words: who we are BEING.
Being is “first cause.” What does that mean?
Who we are BEING internally leads to what we THINK internally, leads to what we SAY externally, leads to what we DO externally (actions).
BEING ➡️ THINKING ➡️ WORDS/SPEAKING ➡️ ACTION
Looking at this diagram above, now you can see why simply speaking positively isn’t enough all by itself. If one does not become aware to who they are BEING inside, then the positively intended words will fall flat.
Who are you BEING when you come to the markets each morning?
You can figure out who you are truly BEING by looking later in the chain at what you are THINKING or SAYING. This can show you who you are actually BEING.
To simplify this further, just take note of ALL your “I AM” statements.
“I am tired…”
“I suck at this…”
“What’s wrong with me?”
“I’m fucking awesome at this.”
“I’m sick of ____.”
“I’m great at ____ but I suck at _____.”
Your optional homework this week is simply to write down ALL of the I AM statements running through your mind or that you are speaking out loud. Note them WITHOUT judgment of yourself and without changing anything today. You don’t have to share these with anyone but yourself.
Next time, we are going to talk about BEING the person we want to be… the person who has the life we want… and why we must be that person NOW, in order to bring about the life we want.
